Rittenhouse Park is Levitt's first community of townhomes. Sales were geared toward apartment dwellers--ads compared the cost of a mortgage in Rittenhouse Park with rent for an apartment with a comparable number of rooms, and pointed out the advantage of the mortgage tax deduction.
Although the second phase of the community was advertised as Rittenhouse Park II, no physical delineation of the phases is discernable within the community except for the Swim Clubs, labeled Pool I and Pool II. We cannot confirm at this time whether the labels "I" and "II" necessarily correspond to the separate phases.
